My new iPod Nano 5g sounded really good with my UE Super.fi 3 in-ear monitors, but sounded flat and lifeless with my Sennheiser PX100's. The Sennheisers just needed more current than the Nano had available. Plugging in an original Boostaroo headphone amp helped, but created a clumsy package. It also maximized the base boost that is built into the Nano 5g's power amp. Clearly, the Nano 5g is optimized for ear buds, especially the ones that come with it. The little Fiio amp solved these problems and then some. It provides plenty of current and makes the Sennheisers sound absolutely fabulous, actually high fidelity. The sound from this tiny package is much cleaner and more neutral than the output from the built in amp. And the package is tiny and unobtrusive. The remote control bypasses the annoying multi-purpose wheel on the iPod and the other controls work great as well. Okay, the E1 does drain the battery faster. It's just physics. But I still have plenty of power for the whole day and I recharge every night anyway. If your phones or audiophile earbuds are power starved, this is most portable solution I have found. One aside is that the E1 doesn't particularly help the sound of the factory earbuds. As I said, the built in amp seems to be optimized for them. Other earbuds, UE or otherwise seem to vary. But anything sounds neutral and needs more current should benefit. Highly recommended for those situations

The obvious benefit of the E1 is that it has the iPod controls and doesn't need its own battery, real portable device! Love it.

adquiri el producto para ipod clasicc y un iphone realmente sirve solo para manejar el volumen lo incrementa muy poco pero no hay mejora del sonido recomiendo mas los productos de creative labs lastima que aun no han hecho algo portatil
no gasten su dinero
